Re: Connecting Kenwood TS-590s to the internet on an iMac?
It was a very simple process. I think that I downloaded the driver from this page, and simply clicked the installer.

Hi Dan,
Here is a list I get using the Terminal Utility.
jAReC.jar does not recognize anything in the Serial Ports list.
Is it possible a problem with the 'path'?
KonabobDesktop:~ konabob$ ls -l /dev
total 0

Congratulations on the progress!
My TS-590S connects directly to my iMac using the USB cable. I am using the Silicon Labs driver that I mentioned earlier. I am able to control the radio and also send and receive audio between the radio and computer. (fldigi and WSJT-X for example).

Re: Connecting Kenwood TS-590s to the internet on an iMac?
Hi Dan,
I have had a few other Mac users contact me, asking if I have resolved the issue. I am so glad you have ordered a new Mac!
I know that others will be excited to get your program working!

Re: Connecting Kenwood TS-590s to the internet on an iMac?
I turned on Java Logging, and ran jAReC.jar. Here is the Java Log. Do I need JFX? I am having trouble finding a download for Mac.
I downloaded Java SE Runtime Environment from: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html
