In 3.1 you must select automatic RADIO ON or OFF from the OPT>EXTRAS>RADIO ON~OFF menu. Is no more automatic by default. No Kenwood configuration file v4 available yet, but you can easily build one starting from the FT450 config. The CAT protocol is very similar.
