Every click takes 20 or more seconds....no matter what I do.
No clue why.....
Could be a firewall or whatever, but it's always the same....click and wait about 20 secs...

Re: Server update
Check /etc/mysql/my.cnf Set this: # # * Fine Tuning # key_buffer = 1024M max_allowed_packet = 16M thread_stack = 512K thread_cache_size = 192 # This replaces the startup script and checks MyISAM tables if needed # the first time they are touched max_connections = 500 table_cache = 256 thread_concurr...

Re: Server update
Hi Dan, Yes I do as it takes quite a bit of time before the forum responding to command, but when it does it shows the page very quickly. However, just clicking on a post can take 20 seconds before something happens. If it's not something external doing this then it's your database running out of ca...

Re: Server update
Did you change the Mysql/MariaDB parameters like keybuffer and such?
Those make a very big difference in speed.
I can give you many hints as the default settings are very poor and mostly enough for home-user use, but not for a public forum.

Re: A new experimental PRO version (3.0b) is now available for download
No problem, let me know and I will add it.
BTW, adding it in the station section breaks with the distribution version, that is not a good idea.
Tested and previous versions will crash on it.
Thanks.
Bas.

Re: A new experimental PRO version (3.0b) is now available for download
I didn't edit my online sdr.xml yet, so whatever you want in it can be done. Just gave you an idea on how it can be done, I can change/alter it to anything you like, no problem. I have to collect ON3MS from work, I can insert it in about 30 minutes, just give me what you want it to look like. Greetz...

Re: A new experimental PRO version (3.0b) is now available for download
Here we go: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> <sdr> <station> <!-- General station info --> <callsign>ON5HB</callsign> <locator>JO21oc</locator> <!-- WebSDR server version --> <version>11</version> <!-- a link to a page where you can find more info about that WebSDR server ...

Re: A new experimental PRO version (3.0b) is now available for download
If you look at my website http://heppen.be:8091 you see I have made settings for users to have direct access. As I use Pocket myself too, it would be nice to have an import-button that reads memories from sdr.xml file and sets them. Sample of my idea: <memory> <mnr>1</mnr> <mname>NTA-net</mname> <mf...

Re: A new experimental PRO version (3.0b) is now available for download
Will it be possible to set the websdr parameters on/off by default?
I mean, I have set autonotch on when users enter my websdr.
Can I enable / pass such functions to the app?
Also, can I push memories to fill them if a users wants to have them filled by the server?
Thanks,
Bas ON5HB.
