Re: Motor control problem

Hi Tom, Depending on the load, is possible that the servo not to be able to drive the capacitor with a very low speed. Lowering the pulse width further will make the motor stops. I'm thinking to replace the servo motor with a 3V DC 5RPM High Torque Electric Gear Box Motor like the following: http://...

Power button - long or short press

Hi all, I've seen a lot of negative feedbacks in Play Store because people don't want to read the user guide. To power up the transceiver you need to long press on power button, like for many physical transceivers. I wonder if is a good idea to use a short instead of a long press to start it. I real...

Decoding PSK31 transmissions using Pocket RXTX and Droid PSK

Hi all, A short video was posted on YouTube showing a demo decoding of PSK31 signals using Pocket RXTX (in WebSDR mode) and Droid PSK. Audio is passed from the tablet speaker to the tablet microphone through the air, so environmental noise and extra distorsion affects the signal. Even in these condi...

Re: Sound Card and Linux Driver

I contacted him already, but still not sure which receiver to use. I would also like to cover the shortwave radio bands, but the receivers beeing able to sample 2mhz are too expensive for a poor ham radio operator ;-) Depends.. My VHF WebSDR covering the full 2m band is using a 10 Euro DVB-T USB st...

Re: Sound Card and Linux Driver

Hi, I'd like to know how you can get ~190khz reception bandwidth out of a 192khz card? I thought maximum reception frequency=sampling rate/2 We are talking about 2 channels (I/Q), at 90deg one from the other. Iam very interested in building my own sdr server, but for VLF. Did I understand that right...

Re: Feature request

Hi Uwe, On the other side, I'm afraid that because of the licensing model of WebSDR software I will no more able to support future versions in my app. As of today, the new WebSDR version (10) which add some new and interesting features (like RTLSDR support) is not and wil not be supported. Oh! That ...

Re: Feature request

Hi Uwe, I will try to contact Simon to see if it will be possible to suport SDR-radio too in a future version of Pocket RXTX. On the other side, I'm afraid that because of the licensing model of WebSDR software I will no more able to support future versions in my app. As of today, the new WebSDR ver...
