I will try to find an FTDI based adapter with the mentioned VID/PID to test here.

Re: I phone
I know. I am an iPhone/iPad user too.
I am paying to Apple an yearly fee to keep my developer account functional.
Unfortunately I am a single person and with a very demanding daily job. I'm working on my own projects (including the apps) only during my very limited free time.

Re: ICOM756 Control
Hello Howard, Let's concentrate on jAReC v4 in direct control mode. As stated in my previous post, most probably the two are related, so if we solve the PTT over RTS issue, audio will work too. From what I see, U5 is using a FTDI chip. Can you connect the interface to a PC and read VID:PID for the U...

Re: I phone
Hello.
An iOS version of Pocket RxTx is planed. I already make some tests a few months ago. As I have very limited available time for the development, I cannot set a release date. I use all available time to finalize the Android version of Pocket RxTx as soon as possible.

Re: ICOM756 Control
Hi, Sorry for the late reply, for an unknown reason I was not notified about a new post in this thread. Let's try to solve first "Also, remember that I still have the issue that I have to connect the AP in CAT and switch to RTS after the phone connects or I can't get it into transmit". It ...

Re: pockettxrx problems
Hi,
Unfortunately I had some health issues and a lot of work at the office after, so no time for development.
Hope to make some progress in the last two weeks of 2022.
Merry Xmas.

Re: ICOM756 Control
Usually this happen by default if you use PTT over CAT. I suppose you must use PTT over the ACC connector through RTS or DTR pins.
What interface are you using with your IC-756?

Re: ICOM756 Control
Hello Howard, According to the picture, the address to use is 173.77.114.248, but this may change as it is dynamically assigned by the ISP. Better use a dynamic DNS service to assign a name to your external IP. I suppose port forwarding is correctly set on your router. If is not working, use a noteb...

Re: ICOM756 Control
Hello Howard.
Sorry for the late reply. I have had some health issues for more than one week already that I have to investigate with high priority.
If you don't select AutoStart and click manually on the START button after the COM port goes green, you still get that error?
