patch cord
patch cord
is it possible to run an audio patch cord from my transceivers headphone jack to my laptop's mic+speaker jacks? this would eliminate the problem of having the radio blaring unattended and having my laptop pickup room conversations.
Re: patch cord
Hi,
Yes, you can connect an audio cable between your data port and your PC, as in a digimodes interface. That output provides a constant level audio.
To use audio from the data port during Tx, you need to use the PTT signal on the same connector, not through CAT or through the transceiver mic PTT.
