There is any setting in the radio to switch between 4 bytes and 5 bytes frequency representation?
Maybe your radio is set for 4 bytes, so you may check the command:
CMD_READ_FREQ=01,01,FE,FE,<A>,E0,03,FD,<R>,0A,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<D10>,<D32>,<D54>,<D76>,<00>

It's a 5-bytes data because I send the command with Bluetooth Teminal app and ic718 reply with 5 bytes data.
But now command read frequency feedback works on my prxtx. i've forgetten a space between characters in the command.
Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone and Happy New Year

I am using the following commands in the config file to read the mode and frequency from my ic-7300 but I do not get any feedback response and neither frequency nor the mode are changing.

POLLING=CMD_READ_FREQ,CMD_READ_MODE

CMD_READ_MODE=04,01,FE,FE,<A>,E0,04,FD,<R>,08,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00=LSB;01=USB;02=AM;03=CW;04=RTTY;05=FM;06=WFM;07=CW-R;08=RTTY-R>,<00>

CMD_READ_FREQ=01,01,FE,FE,<A>,E0,03,FD,<R>,0B,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<D10>,<D32>,<D54>,<D76>,<D98>,<00>

I am using prxtx v0.9.0-18 Jarec v 0.9.0-16
Anyone can help what I am doing wrong?

Thank you

Happy new year to you,

I don't know your rig but use this config with my ic718:

CMD_READ_MODE=04,01,FE,FE,<A>,E0,04,FD,<R>,08,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00=LSB;01=USB;02=AM;03=CW>,<00>,<00>

5 first bytes is <00>, in your config you have 6 first bytes <00> and only one byte <00> at the end.

Pascal Thanks for the response and your help.

Have you succeed to read the frequency?

I have not yet managed to get the frequency feedback.

I am using an IC-7300.

Thanks

Hi Thanasis.

Usually feedback from the radio is used when you want to use your Android device as a bigger display for the radios with small and hardly visible LCDs.
With IC7300 this is not the case.
More, is not recommended to use feedback from the radio when operating remotely as this does not add any extra functionality. The latest version of the application is designed to save in memory location 0 (not accessible through memory buttons) the latest status, including all Option buttons, frequency, mode, etc. An next start, the radio will be set exactly as before previous power off.

Hello Dan,
Hi @LL

...sorry for my bad English :(

I'm new here in the forum.
My Name is Dieter and I'm German Amateur / HAM Member
with a ICOM 7300.
Follow carefully the entries regarding the config files.
Unfortunately, I have not found 7300 config file yet.
Or has SV3AQT already been finished?
And since I am not a programmer, I am a little hard.
So I have certainly soon ask each quantity.

So be careful with your safety :)))

Hi Dieter,

We already exchanged some e-mails on this subject. I think is better to continue here, in order to make our findings available for other iCOM users too.

Hi Dan,
You're absolutely right !!!

Then I try it here in the forum
Hi Members...

Get my config not 100% to run.
ALL my SET's are working perfectly !!!
but
my READ Session will NOT work:
;########## The lower part of my config ##########
CMD_READ_FREQ=01,01,FE,FE,<A>,E0,03,FD,<R>,0B,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<D10>,<D32>,<D54>,<D76>,<D98>,<00>
CMD_READ_MODE=04,01,FE,FE,<A>,E0,04,FD,<R>,<07>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00=LSB;01=USB;02=AM;05=FM>,<00>

CMD_READ_SMETER=01,01,FE,FE,<A>,E0,15,02,FD,<R>,0B,<00><00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<T2>,<T1>,<T0>,<00>
CMD_READ_ALC=01,02,FE,FE<A>,E0,15,13,FD,<R>,0B,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<T2>,<T1>,<T0>,<00>
CMD_READ_PWR=01,02,FE,FE,<A>,E0,15,11,FD,<R>,0B,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<T2>,<T1>,<T0>,<00>
CMD_READ_SWR=01,02,FE,FE,<A>,E0,15,12,FD,<R>,0B,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<T2>,<T1>,<T0>,<00>
; ### CALIB ###
CALIB_SMETER=<MAX=255>,<0=0;15=1;30=2;45=3;60=4;75=5;90=6;100=7;110=8;120=9;140=910;160=920;180=930;200=940;220=950;241=960>
CALIB_SWR=<MAX=255>,<0=1;120=100>

CALIB_PWR=<MAX=255>,<0=0;5=5;10=10;25=25;50=50;100=100>

; list of commands for the parameters feedback
POLLING=CMD_READ_SMETER,CMD_READ_PWR,CMD_READ_SWR,CMD_READ_ALC;
;############# END #############

The SMETER will not displayed anyone ...
No SMETER, no PWR, no ALC, no SWR :(

What am I doing wrong ?
Does anyone see my mistake?
Would be nice if someone tells me where the error lies.
I can not go on alone :(

Thanks...
P.S.
Sorry.....This text was created by google translator - but I can not speak english

Hi Dieter.

With a little luck, I will buy a second hand IC-7000 in a few days so I will be able to test CI-V read commands and be back with a functional config.
