Hi all
I would just like to share my configuration file if anyone is interested.
All commands in the file work perfectly with the icom ic-7300. I use Pocket rxtx version 0.9.0-20
Unfortunately, I have not succeeded in getting the s-meter reading to work. Maybe someone has a solution?
I attach the file "icom_ic7300.zip"

Hi Goran,
Thank you for your contribution. If I remember correctly, Icom radio use variable length answer for the s-meter. This is something on my high priority list of features to be added, as I have an Icom IC7000 that I can use for test.

If you agree, I can push your config (with your callsign or name) to the central repository, to be available directly from the app.

Re: icom ic 7300 configfile
Hi Dan,
have you made a working config for reading S-meter on Ic-7000?
for now i tried for reading frequency :
CMD_READ_FREQ=01,01,FE,FE,<A>,E0,03,FD,<R>,0B,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<00>,<D10>,<D32>,<D54>,<D76>,<D98>,<00>
(with the according POLLING of course)
but doesn't work in my IC-2730 although the format seems ok (5 byte).
Also can you please explain the meaning of the Yellow and Green dots , in the time box? (I guess it is CI-V TX and RX from transceiver?)

Hi Lakis,

Not yet, struggling to release the new version 2.1. Unfortunately I have my IC-7000 in a remote location. Not sure that I will be able to take it back in the following 2-3 weeks.
First one shows when feedback is activated and an answer is received from the radio, second is used to display the heartbeat signal between Pocket RxTx and jAReC. This helps to better know the status of the network connection. If the other party hangs, no heartbeat received and Pocket RxTx will disconnect and try to reconnect.Also can you please explain the meaning of the Yellow and Green dots , in the time box?
