does anyone have experience with kenwood th-f7?
I have configured the radio but I already have some problems:
- it goes in tx immediately after the connection (and if you are remotely you do not notice)
- the sound is distorted (I checked the levels and they are good, on the pc listen well)

I have many other questions but I start with these ....

Hi,

What kind of CAT interface are you using?
What do you mean by "sound is distorted"? Usually when you connect the CAT cable the audio is muted.

hi, I made an interface using baofeng uv 5 data cable and new jacks to connect the audio pin to the 2.5mm connector. the audio on the PC is good but on the smartphone it's bad.
do you have any idea why it goes in transmission just connected?

Is the transceiver put in PC mode? Is possible that you trigger PTT through the jack if in normal operation mode.
