Hi,
Please provide more details:
- are you using jAReC or jarecmini?
- jarec is runing on Windows or Linux?
- your radio brand/model
- jarec is connected to the radio through a soundcard or directly over USB for both CAT and audio?
I suspect an issue on the PC side.
Thank you.

Hi thanks for the response
I am using Latest Jarec have also Tested with jarecmini
i have the Kenwood ts480hx
I have the radio connected to the soundcard and cat via usb
as i said before the tx audio is fine its only the Rx audio via pocketRXTX app on android...
The pc is windows 7 pc i was going to try Linux but would this fix the issue? all other voip apps are fine but as said before i think its best to have it all on the one app.

Hi,
Can you try to use a cheap USB audio interface, just for testing, instead of the internal soundcard in the PC?
It may be an incompatibility related to the samplerate.

Hi again Dan sorry to say no change have tested also with different soundcard still very choppy audio on the receive.
It's not my radio as i can use other voip software like mumble. and it's all great it's just the built-in audio.
also tested with my Linux box and it's still the same it's on both LAN and 4g so don't think its a bandwidth issue
