Hello Dan,
I like to ask if you already found a audio Bluetooth that will work
with your application.
Are you aware of the RN52 Module?
https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/rn ... -52-module
found another interesting one.
https://adaptivemodules.co.uk/index.cfm ... uct_ID/909
Supports different firmware. kcAudioAdapter Edition - kcAudioGateway Edition - kcAudioHeadset Edition
Sounds very promising.
Looks very interesting, supports also HFP, HSP and even SPP.
Price is about 30 Euro.
Do you think this can work?

Audio Bluetooth module
Re: Audio Bluetooth module
Hi Sigi,
Interesting modules. I have tried some times ago to build a combo audio/CAT module for FT817 using actyual BT serial module and a cheap Bluetooth handsfree. I was not satisfied with the results. You can see my prototype here:
I have now another approach. I intend to use a cheap Android smartphone as a CAT/audio interface for the transceiver. A special Android version of jAS2SecNET will run on that smartphone, allowing you to securely control your transceiver over WiFi locally or over the Internet.
I'm working on audio support in Pocket RxTx and jAS2SecNET and some other new and cool features (radio feedback, Android Wear supprt, etc.)
Current results are promising.
