I just downloaded a new config file and will give it a try in a little bit. I will post the results of my test.

Same problem the radio locks up during the initiation and the audio stops.

I did go back and try version 8 and it still work fine.

The app on my mobile v 9.0.16 was completely unresponsive. The application switches on but all the buttons did not respond at all.
I did unintelligible it and install back the v9.0.11.
Now everything works perfectly fine.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi Thanasis,

Have you ckecked that the interface is not locked? I have no other reports that the interface locks, nor able to replicate this behavior here.
By "the buttons did not respond" do you mean that even the status in the interface does not change when you press a button?
You are using jAReC version 0.9.0-16?
Can you post a screenshot of the main screen when radio is on?

I was not able to replicate your issue. I'm using Pocket RxTx 0.9.0-16, jAReC 0.9.0-16 and my FT-991 with the internal CAT interface connected over USB to the PC where jAReC runs, with the latest "Default" config for FT-991 available in the central repository.
Can you please send me more details about your setup?

FT-991 menu setup for the following parameters:
- 031 CAT rate
- 032 CAT TOT
- 033 CAT RTS
- 062 DATA MODE
- 071 DATA PTT ELECT
- 072 DATA PORT SELECT

A screenshot with the jAReC Panel or a copy of the jAReC configuration file (jsn.cfg)
A copy of the Windows Devices window, expanded with the COM ports (to see the two COM ports created by the FT-991).

I have tried once again with v9.0.16. Same thing.
The radio switches on but the the application on the phone is not responding. It looks like the interface is frozen. Pressing the buttons on the phone does nothing, The wheels for power and mode do not move and in general all buttons do not respond.

I am not sure if you have changed some parameters and may be the .radio file configuration needs to be changed too.

I have reverted back to the v 9.0.11 which works perfectly.
