New PocketRXTX Alpha version - daily updates
Posted: Wed Aug 20, 2014 11:24 am
Hi all,
Till the new version (0.7) will have all the features functiona and be stable enough to be published in Play Store, you can dowload daily updates from the following address:
http://www.yo3ggx.ro/pocketrxtx/history.html
This will host the history for each update too.
In order for a new tranceiver to be supported in direct CAT mode over USB/Bluetooth or Network a set of files must be placed in the app /prxtx/Radios folder in the internal emulated SD card.
- a transceiver picture (480x320) in jpg format
- a configuration file in text format, with ".radio" extension
This will allow to fully customize the wheels and the options button (10) in the app interface for each transceiver individually, without installing any application update.
User guide is not yet updated so please be patient.
For the moment the config files are filled only for Yaesu FT817/857/897 (partial functionality, no feedback) and Yaesu FT450 (full functionality, but still no feedback).
If you play with the new version please send me your feedback. I am available here for any questions you may have.
