I just hope HRD works. No full Version yet of HRD

What do you mean by that? HRD support was removed from Pocket RxTx long time ago, for several technical and not technical reasons.

Im testing Pocket RxTx v0.8.1-1, downloaded config for FT857. Radio FT-857D with cheap bt module from ebay. Speed 9600. Android device I9505 with 5.01.

Whats working:
- frequency reading
- frequency changing via dial
- frequency changing via + and -
- PTT
- All bands switching (but 4m only WFM , then pls remove 4m, not usable
- All mode, exclude FM-N, FM-N is not working from both directions, nothing happend on the radio
- Memory, frequency and mode
- S-meter, but sometimes stays on SWR text
- Split

Whats not working:
- When i changing frequency manualy inside the band, then is sometimes no change on prxtx, but sometimes works... When switch the band manualy, then works.
- FM-N mode
- Power, radio is not switching to preseted power from dial in prxtx, in menu 075 on radio stays manualy preseted value. If i set 31W on the radio, and then set 5 or 100W via prxtx, nothing happends. The same via PWR button in prxtx. Why is this two times present on prxtx? One time is button, and second is roller.

Manualy means set something directly on radio

It seems to be ported config from FT817, but not all is working

The command was missing from the file

I think that you can use

Please provide an example in order to be able to reproduce here.

Commands and buttons settings are user configurable. It was just as an example. Unfortunately I was not able to find a reliable source of information about FT857 undocumented CAT commands so is based mainly on FT817. Some parameters are not the same Power is just one of them.
I have an FT817 only to play with...

In between I've found something related to FT857. It seems that the power is set per band. I need to further dig on this.

I need

Let's take it step by step.
You can find in the central repository a new config file for FT857 named "workset" with the description "Work in progress||To be tested by Anton"

The following was modified:
- the following commands removed: volt/chg/ant
- the following buttons defined: SPLIT, LOCK,
- please check again FM-N as the definition was missing from the previous config file
- check if you get correct feedback for: frequency, mode, S-meter and PTT.
- power wheel is not yet functional

Hi,

Please try to reset the radios list first. Long press on START button and then select "RADIOS" when in direct CAT mode.
All locally stored radios will be removed and the app automatically connects to the central repository where you will be able to select the radio or config you want to download locally.

I've checked now and I see no issue here. If you load the config for FT817 the error disappear?
You get the same error with both versions of the FT857 config?
