Show Amateur radio frequency allocation in background?

Post by msta »

Hello,

is it possible to switch on amateur radio frequency allocation in reflection measure mode in background like vnaJ will do?

If not, this will be a very cool feature for integrate in the future, Dan. ;)

Best regards

Hello Mario,

Can you please detail a little bit? I am not familiar with all vnaJ features.
I didn't want to copy an existing application, but to develop new features in an original way, adapted to a touch based device.

Thank you,
Dan

Hello Dan,

on the screenshot you can see in gray colour the amateur radio frequency band of 80m on the left and the 10m on the right side. It is very helpful as a target during snip the antenna.... ;)

This is a measurement of my new 80m wire horizontal position quad antenna under roof in the loft. ;)

The next good thing is the white curve in the diagram. It is a loaded refererence of a former measurement. It shows the progress of snip. So i can easier evalute how much wire i should cut away. ;)
Is it possible to load a reference in blueVNA too?

Best regards
Mario

Hello Mario,

Both are interesting features which are not available in the current version of BlueVNA. I will put them both on the wish list for a future version.
Unfortunately my free time in this period is very limited and I have still some work to do on my other application Pocket RxTx as I want to release a major update as soon as possible.

Thank you for the suggestions.

Thank you Mario.
Did you checked the latest experimental version of Pocket RxTx available here?

No i didn't check at this time. I to have very rare time for this at the moment.

But the goal of my project, therefore i build this antenna, is to control the FT-897 connected with jAReCmini running on a bananaPi over Pocket RxTx over the whole world.... ;) (don't ask this to our austrian radio monitoring crew.... ;) )

The only problem is that the project runs really slow because of rare time...
