Hi Dan
Now, I have used the fine miniVNA ver 0.5.7 and it works very well use it daily.
But I need to Loss in transmission mode that loss may go down 50dB (now 30db) when it runs out of scale when I need to measure the traps. :-(
So I would be delighted if you could take that into your consideration in future versions.
but otherwise a nice software I use almost every day on my Samsung Galaxy S3, denhar I always in your pocket :-)
and I'm sorry my bad englsk

So thanks for the good work

Hi Ole,

The Loss scale auto scale to 60dB when >30dB so you don't need to worry.
I will push a new version (0.6) with a lot of new features and fixes in a few days.

Thank you and best regards,

Hi Dan

I have Installed latest ver. BLUvna (my miniVNA) and I still need it to go down to 60dB in RL, so it happens that it goes out of the bottoms of the screen when it goes over the 30db.
You wrote that you would take it in the next rev. and that it would also switch to 60dB when you passed 30db.
but have trouble getting it to work here ;)

Otherwise, I use it daily both on my mobile and taplet when I play with my ant. but it is a little cold for the time -6 and windy. :)

Hi Ole,

It is implemented in 0.6.
I've double checked again in transmission using the following setup:
- a dual band antenna connected to DET
- leave DUT connector open

The scale goes automatically to 60dB and the displayed loss looks like in the following picture.

Please give me more details about the setup.

Thank you,

Hi Dan
Here a picture from my Galaxe s3 from the measurement of the LC circuit (80m coax traps) and I can not get it to switch to 60dB scale, but it may well be that the problem is my s3 are the problem.

Hi Ole,

Please save the capture to a vec file and send it to me. You can post it in this thread or send it to me by mail.
Maybe in some particular cases the scale does not change automatically to 60dB and I want to check this with your data.

For sure it will be solved.

Thank you,
Dan YO3GGX
