Hi Dan, hi all,
I was playing with pocket TX when i saw the autoupdate succesfull of the v0.6... HAPPY!
I checked on internet, nothing about v0.6, so i think i'm the first to make a feedback.

i found that:
Version 0.6 (Feb 12th , 2013).

What’s new/changed:

multi WebSDR servers support;

slow AGC for waterfall (better contrast without fast changes);

High/Low quality mode for Waterfall/Spectrum;

use camera hardware button (if available) as PTT;

added support for IC-7000 in HRD mode;

when you manually edit the frequency the display is cleared at first key press;

Bugs solved:

USB symbol remains when starting in FT8x7 mode even if USB is not activated;

incorrect UTC time if time zone is negative;

PTT does not work for TS-2000;

crash if no USB host support available on the smartphone/tablet with os version 2.3.x;

bands not saved/recalled when changing memories;


After some test, (with HRD and a FT-857 with USB CAT)
-i seen that the PTT button on the camera button work very well! Thanks Dan!
-The 0.032 bug is still here when communication error or problem,
-the callback of the memories still don't work the second time we do a callback
-The power indicate by the power button in pocketTX do not correspond to the power set really on the transceiver.
-11m band button don't work
-S meter bar don't work correctly (never more than a small blue pixel)
-Changing fast or playing too much with some parameters make HRD crashing! Have to hard shutoff and restart HRD on windows.
-the manual frequency entry working well now when don't need do delete the old caracters. Thanks Dan!

Thanks for all Dan, you're doing a great job, i'm sure making a so complicate software is hard.

First I want to thank you for updating and trying the new version. It was a major update mainly because of he multi-WebSDR servers support.

As I told you before, this is something in relation with HRD which in some circumstances (not yet discovered) return 0 as value for the frequency.

Corrected now.

Here I cannot do to much. I'm pushing HRD IP Server beyond his limits with this app.

Do you mean second in a row?

Not in a row. Just the second time i callback a frequency.
I mean if i just start pocket TX, i want to callback a memory, i push the first memory button 14.200Mhz for example. The transceiver go to 14.200Mhz. I can transmit or listen or change the frequency with the rotator button. But if i want to go to an other frequency with an other memory button, 21.300Mhz for example, my second memory button, i push on it, but the FT857 stay on 14.200Mhz, and PocketTX bug! Nothing more can be send from pocket tx, i need to disconnect - reconnect.

Please help me with this, HRDip and send me the values for different power levels in FT-857

I did "get smeter-main" on hrd ip
Of course the result is changing depend of the signal level the transceiver is receiving.
But it show something like that:

For a Signal of 7:
S7,7,15 [meter_reading,raw_value,max_value]

For a Signal of 0:
S,0,15 [meter_reading,raw_value,max_value]

For a Signal of 9+10:
S9+10,10,15 [meter_reading,raw_value,max_value]

On my tests, it's just the S-meter bar which is not working correctly. The S number (just top of the S bar) is working good and showing the good value!
And i want to say also that the s-meter bar working good when i'm in SDR mode ! The problem exist just in HRD mode
